Specialist (aka Junior Engineer)

About the role

As a member of our Specialists team, you’ll spend the majority of your time at our clients’ offices. You’ll set up new machines, onboard new users, help with basic support issues (predominantly macOS, G Suite), keep the server/network cabinets tidy and the stock room stocked.
You’ll also act as the hands and eyes for our remote engineers when solving more complex issues, and be an extra pair of hands on projects.
When not on site, you’ll work from our office in Old Street - working through a list of delegated tasks, including client documentation and writing knowledge base content.
You’ll be the smiling face of LeftBrain, forging relationships and building trust with our clients.
We don’t expect you to know everything: technical aptitude and interpersonal skills are more important than experience, however 1-2 years in a client facing technical role is preferred.
You’ll need to be able to manage your own time own time, juggle priorities and look awesome while doing it. We maintain a flat management structure - we’ll expect you to act senior, even if you’re not there yet.
Lastly, you’ll be open to cycling in London, ideally with your own bike, or a cycle hire membership will be provided.
